After you’ve been driving for a while the road gets smaller and smaller. Finally the road ends and you have reached our Wilderness village. This small village is located next to the lake Kyllesjön. One bigger cabin, like the ones the Sami people in northern Sweden use. One smaller, called the “charcoal cabin”. This name comes from the activity over hundred years ago, when they made charcoal, and lived in cabins like this.
In the bigger cabin there is room for about 15 adults to sleep around the fireplace. The cabin is covered with moss and grass and is located with a view of the lake. In the smaller cabin up to four persons can sleep and listen to the sparkling fire. You have good opportunity to barbeque outdoor at the two big fireplaces. Please use the boat or canoes and enjoy the silence and watch the sun go down. You borrow the lifejackets from us.
This small village has all kinds of visitors. Lonely hikers that want to experience peace and quiet and big groups of children that plays in the forest. The opportunities are many!
Unfortunately we have had many damages at the cabins, therefore the road is blocked with a gate. Please contact us to get the key.
